At our game on Friday night Allendale-Fairfax High School was recognized as a member of the National Alliance of Mental Illness. Superintendent Dr. Cave was presented with an award for our commitment to raising awareness and speaking up about mental health. To show our support, we asked our fans to wear green to stand up for the cause. We are grateful for our continued partnership with NAMI and Humana and hope our efforts will help the start the conversation about the importance of mental health.

During Board Member Appreciation Month, we proudly recognize Ms. Catherine Russell for her outstanding leadership and dedicated service. As Board Chairman, Ms. Russell has served our district for 10 years, providing steady guidance and a strong voice for our schools. She is widely known as a champion for the community, having previously served with the Allendale County Sheriff’s Department as a victim’s advocate. We thank Ms. Russell for her unwavering service and the positive impact she continues to make in our district and community.
