Today was the first day of school for scholars at Allendale County School District. They noticed changes like our increased security measures and no cellphone policy. We are grateful for the support of the Allendale Sheriff Department for their assistance in making sure we had a smooth first day. Here's the start of a great school year!

10th and 11th grade students attended an orientation session where they learned about changes to our policies, dual enrollment oppurtunities, and expectations for the upcoming school year.

AFHS hosted a Orientation for the 10th and 11th grade students and their families. Representatives from Denmark Tech and USC Salkehatchie were there to present information about their dual enrollment and early college programs. Students were also informed about the new rules and expectations for the upcoming school year.

Today is the last day to pre-register your child! Powerschool coordinators will be in the elementary and high school cafeterias until 4:30 PM. If you fail to register before the bash, we will also have stations on the day of the event where you can register.

Reminder: 10th and 11th Grade Orientation is today in the AFHS cafeteria starting at 1:00 PM.

Congratulations to Seth Krebs and Iymesha Grayson who recently attended Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama. After 6 days of rocket building, astronaut training, and problem solving the students graduated at a ceremony.
