On March 23rd you can receive almost $500 worth of services at no cost to you! PEBA will be visiting our district to provide free preventative biometric screenings for eligible employees and dependents. Families it's almost time for our Family Fun Fest this Saturday from 10 AM-2 PM. This event will be held on the field at our elementary school and will feature student performances, food trucks, local vendors, and line dancing! Each school will sponsor a tent and be offering extra credit or dress down as an added incentive. Come out to engage and enjoy everything our community has to offer!

Following the program, we invited faculty and staff to experience A Taste of Black History: Allendale-Fairfax Edition. Our selection included a variety of rice and pasta, plus savory meats and filling sides. These foods reflect the rich diversity, culture, and creativity woven throughout Black history. Sharing these dishes allowed us to honor tradition, celebrate culture, and recognize the powerful ways food can promote fellowship and connection.
The ceremony was accompanied by music from our AFMHS Chorus and our band. Superintendent Dr. Cave gave closing remarks reminding scholars that Beta Club is only the beginning of a lifelong journey of academic excellence. She encouraged students to honor their oath and rise to every occasion. We are excited to welcome one of the largest groups of inductees in recent years and look forward to their continued success.
Congratulations to our newest inductees, each of whom received a certificate and pin to honor this accomplishment. Membership in this prestigious organization requires students to maintain high academic standards while demonstrating integrity and a dedication to serving others. Being a Beta Club member represents more than achievement, it reflects a commitment to leading by example and making a positive impact in our school and community. We celebrate our new members and look forward to the continued excellence and leadership they will bring.
Today, we proudly inducted 30 new members into the Beta Club at Allendale-Fairfax High School. Each inductee was formally recognized and accepted the duties and responsibilities of becoming a Beta scholar. Our current members participated in a candle-lighting ceremony representing the four pillars of this distinguished organization: character, leadership, service, and achievement. Surrounded by the support of family, friends, teachers, and administrators, we celebrated our students’ accomplishments and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence on their academic journey.
