Our talented students, guided by an experienced instructor, will be offering professional-quality salon services at an affordable price. Offerings include nails, skins, hair and top tier customer service! This clinic allows our students to practice their craft while you can show your support for our Cosmetology program! Please remember we only accept cash payments. Also, appointments are preferred, but we do offer walk-ins on a first come first serve basis.

The AFMHS Chorus invites you to join us for our 2024 Winter Concert. There will be two public performances, Wednesday, December 4th and Thursday, December 5th, at 6:30 PM nightly. Both performances will be at the Carolina Theatre. Due to limited seating, so tickets must be purchased in advance and can be purchased using the link below. We are excited to showcase our amazing choral program and we can’t wait to see you as we embark on our Winter Extravaganza—The Tigerville Experience. Each night we will also be selling Hot Cocoa with all of the fixings, Hot Cider and Homemade Cookies, enough just to spark your winter and holiday spirit.

This is an update of our athletic attendance procedures. Tomorrow will be our final football game as we take on the Ridgeland Jaguars. Each student-athlete will be allowed two guests (Parent/Guardian) to attend the game. Our cheerleaders and football players will need to complete the Microsoft Form that was emailed to them from Athletic Director, Coach Brandyburg. Those younger non-school age children that are in the care of a parent/guardian attending the game will be admitted. This contest will be at no cost to our fans. Please be reminded that there is a clear bag policy as well as everyone entering the stadium will be searched and/or wanded. As we move into basketball season, please expect further communication as we share our new attendance procedures for our winter athletic contests.
Reminder that next week on November 14th, we will be hosting Thanksgiving Dinners! Each plate will cost $6 and the registration deadline is November 12th. Payments can be sent in advance through your child or you can pay in person. Come enjoy a classic Thanksgiving meal with your child!

As part of Allendale-Fairfax High School's College Application Day, students were given designated time to complete college applications for FREE. We also had representatives from several colleges including University of South Carolina Salkehatchie, Charleston Southern University , Francis Marion University, Morris College, Clafin University, and the College of Charleston. This gave our students a chance to ask them questions about admissions and enrollment.
Thank you to the AFHS National Honor Society and BETA club for participating and everyone else who helped us set up and pass out the food donations. Your generosity and kindness is much appreciated!
Congratulations are in order for Allendale-Fairfax High School! The SC Report Card showed a 11.2% increase in the graduation rate from 2023 (64.7%) to 2024 (75.9%). The school also has progressed and is NO longer designated as an Unsatisfactory high school! Allendale County Schools will be working with United Way and Bamberg Food Share to donate FREE food tomorrow at 10 AM. Beginning at 9:45 AM, cars can line up at Allendale-Fairfax High School from the middle school side by the DMV. Please note that boxes will be distributed on a first come first serve basis. There is only one box allowed per car and one family per car. Please come out to receive free fruits, vegetables, and recipes!
Reminder that tomorrow, October 17th will be College Application Day at Allendale-Fairfax High School. From 9 AM until 12 PM Juniors and Seniors can fill out college applications for free using a waiver. We will also have staff available to help assist students with applications. Take advantage of this opportunity and apply to your top schools!
