Vanessa Badger is the truancy officer for Allendale County Schools. She is excited to work with our students and their families as the district strives to make regular school attendance a priority.

The Universal Technical Institute paid a visit to Allendale-Fairfax High School. During the information session, students tried a hands-on interactive welding experience, heard a presentation about the nationwide program, and got to observe a real life Nascar.


Allendale-Fairfax High School held an Emerging Scholars information session for sophomores. During the session, current participants of the program shared their experience and gave advice on how to apply and engage in the program.

Today concludes Benchmark 2 Testing. We are so proud of the effort our students put forth!

The Allendale-Fairfax High School JROTC Blood Drive was a success! They reached their target goal and helped save many lives. A special thanks to all the donors who participated!

We are almost finished with Benchmark Testing! Tomorrow, January 23rd, is the final day and students will be tested in US History.

Agenda topics will include Superintendent’s Update, Continuous Improvement Plan, Financial Audit Report, and Employee/Student Recognition. We look forward to seeing you there!


Final reminder that the AFHS Cosmetology Salon Clinic is today from 9am -1pm. Please keep in mind that if you have not scheduled an appointment, walk-ins are only accommodated if time permits.

Students took their Algebra 1 Benchmark Assessment today. On Monday, they will be tested for Biology 1.


We want to congratulate one of our Fighting Tigers, Zy'Shonne Rollins for making the South Carolina Football Team for the Annual Border Bowl. Rollins had 5 tackles and 1 sack during the game. He was supported by Head Football Coach, Corey Haynes.


Today was the first day of Benchmark Testing. Students were tested in English 2. Tomorrow students will be taking their Algebra 1 Benchmark.
