Students from AFHS attended the CSRA College Night in Augusta, GA. Students were able to fill out college applications and speak to college representatives. Zyone Green won the CSRA College Night scholarship in the amount of $1000.00. Some of our students received Certificates of Acceptance from SC State University.

Seniors had an opportunity to speak with a representative from West-Virgina State University regarding the USDA Scholarship. Student applications fees were waived.









IMPORTANT INTERCESSION UPDATE: Dear Parents, our 2023-2024 District calendar includes intercession days strategically placed throughout the school year to lessen instructional gaps. These periods support and improve student academics by offering instruction tailored to students' individual needs. Intercessions will be well-planned, targeted learning opportunities for students. We will enter Intercession on October 5-6, 2023. Please expect an invitation to be sent home this week if your child(ren) must attend.
